2. How PES Admission Process Works Through JEE Main

• PES University primarily conducts its own exam called PESSAT , but it also accepts JEE Main ranks .

• Admissions via JEE score are subject to seat availability after PESSAT counselling.

3. Can You Get CSE, CS (Specialisations), or ECE?

• CSE (Computer Science Engineering):

  • Very highly demanded at PES.

  • Usually closes around 95-98 percentile .

  • With 97.4 percentile and 5656 EWS rank , you have a fair chance for CSE, especially if you apply early .

• CS Specialisations (like AI, Data Science, Cybersecurity):

  • Slightly easier than pure CSE.

  • Many CS specialisations close around 94–96 percentile , so your chance is even higher here .

• ECE (Electronics and Communication Engineering):

  • Seats generally remain available up to 90-94 percentile .

  • Definitely you will get ECE with your percentile without much difficulty.

4. Important Points You Must Remember

• Apply Early : PES fills JEE quota seats quickly; so apply as soon as counselling opens .

• Preference Order : Always select CSE → CS (Specialisations) → ECE while applying.

• Cutoff Changes Every Year : Cutoffs slightly vary based on competition, number of seats, etc.
