see most of the cases cgpa does not matter. however the eligibility criteria is applicants belongs to NON iit, need to secure Minimum CPI of 6.5 or 60% of marks or First Class in the qualifying degree.non IIT candidates  must possess a valid score of Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE). iit guwahati offers civil engineering m.tech course in below mention stream.
