Admissions through JEE Main is one of the toughest engineering entrance exams to crack. Some are able to crack the test, while many lose the chance to grab a seat for B.Tech admission at NITs, IIITs and CFTIs. This dejection may come as a jolt for thousands of the test takers; however, failing to secure a seat at the JEE Main participating institutes, is not the end of the road. Apart from NITs+System, several states and engineering institutes offer B.Tech/B.E. admissions based on candidates Jee Main scores.

Kamla Nehru Institute of Technology,  Sultanpur offers admission into its B.Tech programme through the marks obtained in Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Exam (UPSEE)

The minimum eligibility criteria for university is that the candidate list have obtained atleast 45% aggregate marks in his 12th examination.

Admission through JEE mains into KNIT is not possible , if you are are a resident of J&K or north east then by CSAB counselling you can enter through JEE mains. Otherwise you have to get good score in UPSEE to enter into KNIT.
