As your rank is very high it is not possible to get into NITs under other state quota.
If you mention your state of domicile, the answer will be more specific.

Yes, I think you can get a branch in an NIT because you have a decent rank.
You will not be able to get the top branches but you stand a good chance to get a branch just below them.
I think you can appply for a couple of NIT's whose closing rank is around 50,000.
