no with this marks you wont be able to get chemical or amy stream in jdavpur. But there is a possibility of getting cse , ece, ee me in jgec and it in kgec. it all depends on how your competitors have performed. wait for the results and counselling.

                          West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination is an entrance exam conducted in respect to admission in various colleges in West Bengal imparting education in Medical, Engineering and Technological courses.                            There is an intake of 116 in Jadavpur University for the Chemical Engineering. Inorder to get a seat in Chemical you should get a rank as mentioned above in WBJEE for the General category. The cutoff rank is 960 or so in the year 2018 for the Chemical Engineering in JU. There is a possibility of getting a seat in Chemical Engineering in either 2nd or 3rd allotment depending on the vacancy.

Hi sankalan ! Without any doubt you will get chemical engineering in Jadavpur University. Because in 2018 the cut off went to 953 rank for chemical engineering of general category. With this marks you can have the rank easily above 950. You can get this chemical engineering either at 2nd or 3rd or at 4th allotment round depending on vacancy. Well, you does not need to go upto mock allotment round to get this stream.
