Dear student,

If you take admission in nit or iit then your certificate are submitted. Now, suppose you got another college and you want to study in that college then your certificates will be returned to you even after you got admission in nits or iit.

Now if you get admission in nit or iit, then yes your certificate will be given back to you but not in the first year. It is possible that toot certificate will be returned after 2nd year ( after complete verification and analysis of the datas), or maybe im the final year or in 3rd year.

But your certificate will not be permanently taken by iit or nit. Before 4th year it is sure that you will get your certificates back.
