Cut off's of any university depend on the number of seats available in the college, number of students applying for the exam and the performance of students in that particular exam. Cut off will also vary in this college with the category you belong to and your gender. 

According to your rank you can get branches like petrochemical engineering, B.Tech ceramic technology, B.Tech biotechnology only if you belong to ST category. 

According to previous year cut offs for SC category students the closing rank in B.Tech biotechnology was 33811, in B.Tech ceramic technology it was 44515, in chemical engineering it was 29450, in metallurgical engineering it was 16936, in civil engineering it was 11441, in mechanical engineering it was 8914, in electrical and electronics it was 9011, in computer science and system engineering it was 3997, In electronics and communication engineering it was 3705.
