Hello Aspirant,

The Joint Admission Test for MSc (JAM) is an all-India level online entrance exam conducted by Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) every year on a rotational basis on behalf of Ministry of Human Resources Development (MHRD), Government of India.

This implies that candidates after graduating from their course sit for this exam to pursue the Masters from IITs.

Last year, IIT JAM exam was conducted for six Science subjects. However, JAM 2021 will be conducted for seven subjects which are Biotechnology (BT), Chemistry (CY), Economics (EN), Geology (GG), Mathematics (MA), Mathematical Sciences (MS) and Physics (PH). The new paper added for JAM 2021 admissions is Economics.

Hence coming back to your question, yes you can sit for the exam for Mathematics.

Hello Nikita kumar , Yes you can give IIT jam after bsc in mathematics because There is no age bar for IIT JAM Exam. Any student who has completed B.Sc . degree with at least 55% can apply for the exam.

Hope you will understand and it will be helpful for you :)
