DU does not offer admissions to B.Tech with 12th scores. Moreover, people often confuse B.Tech with the B.Sc program provided in almost all trades of science. Your 12th marks will get you is a B.Sc in many engineering fields like computer science, Physical Science with Electronics, mathematical sciences, etc.

And good for you, your percentage does clear cutoff for various colleges in different streams.

Also, DU provides B.Tech a complete four years program in the Cluster Innovation Centre - A government of India funded Institute established under the aegis of the University of Delhi. But admission in CIC is through a separate exam DU CIC - 2019. There are 40+6 seats in B.Tech(IT and Mathematical Innovations).

IMPORTANT DATES for DU CIC - 2019 :

• Application form: 3rd week of May to the first week of June.
• Admit Card Issues: 2nd week of June
• Examination: 3rd week of June
• Result: 3rd week of July
• Admissions: first week of August
• Closing Admissions: 3rd week of August
