The general surgeon job is to perform minimally trespassing and uncomplicated surgeries that last a few minutes, or trespassing and complicated surgeries that require long hours to complete. A surgeon operates on a human living body and hence their life is at a high risk. Steps to become a surgeon:

Clear 10+2

A basic query that comes up to the mind of every medical aspirant is how to become a surgeon. Here we will provide you with the educational requirements for a surgeon. Students are required to complete 10+2 in physics, chemistry, and biology as compulsory subjects with an aggregate of 60 per cent of marks from a recognised board.

Entrance examination

Here we have discussed surgeon education requirements in few steps. Several universities and colleges conduct entrance examinations to provide admissions. Students are required to prepare and appear for entrance examinations. On the basis of candidates’ performance in the entrance examination admissions are provided. The selection criteria for postgraduate is either based on the academic record of the candidate or the entrance exam conducted by the particular university. There are various courses offered as specialisations to candidates pursuing post-graduation. Following are the various specialisations offered for pursuing MS/MDS:

Yes, you can do by doing post graduate in oral surgery and then super specialization in cosmetic surgery. The average pay for a Physician / Doctor, Plastic Surgeon is approximately Rs 1,200,000 per year.
