First round is the offline round where you go and get a seat according to your rank. If your choice of branch is already full, you would have to register yourself for next rounds which occur online. Then you would get waitlisted for that particular branch. (You can get yourself waitlisted for 4-5 branches in your order of priority)

After the offline round ends, some alloted seats get vacant as people get better opportunities. The vacant seats are then alloted to the waitlisted students in the next online rounds.

After each online round, there are new vacancies which are filled up in the subsequent rounds. 3-4 online rounds occur. Then there is an inter college round where one can change their college (eg: from Jaipur Manipal to Main Manipal) and then a final college specific spot round.
