LPU has several options for the students to earn money as part-time jobs in LPU. If there is any job vacancy for students available, you will get a notice on UMS(University Management System) regarding the same. You just need to fill the form and apply. Wait for interview time slots and then for the result. After being selected you will be provided with the respective time slots in which you can work apart from the class hours. Yes, LPU provides a lot of opportunity to students for working part time in the various divisions and departments under it's Earn while you Learn scheme.

There are many ways to earn money on the side while being a full-time student. I know many students studying at Lovely Professional University doing the same.

Doing part-time jobs while studying can be a very good experience and way to get that extra pocket money which can be spent in many good ways. With the extra money, one can learn a lot about the business, organization or about life with new experience and many lessons learned. For some, this is the best way to spend that extra time doing some useful and fruitful.

On average, their reaction has been very positive to what they have learned from that and the nominal salary is just a cherry on the top.

You can work in fields like :

• A part-time job in the universities departments such as admissions, library, filing departments, etc which will pay you INR 50–55 per hour with no upper cap, and on summer vacations the same can pay 8000–12000 working as an educational counselor.
• Another, in eateries like Domino's and food hubs which is providing them 4000–5000 for every 3–4 hours you put per day.
• If one is B.tech/CSE/IT students then they can get into website designing and data handling. There are various online sources as well as looking for talents like this one.
• Freelancing has been a huge open market to anyone, from YouTube vlogger to blogging, photography, videography, editing, etc, which pays a good amount for the talent. Many students shoot, designs and edit videos, pamphlets, photos, etc for a good amount.
• Many students are also being a mediator for second-hand goods. The university is the largest university in India with more than 30000 students there is a huge market for second-hand products and some students are earning good money from just being a mediator.
• Selling downloaded games, movies, songs and even class assignments and presentation have been a good source of revenue for the hard workers. They had mentioned students who will prepare you a report and ppts at a cost of 300- 500 rupees with the plagiarism report as well.
• The university has students from all around the WORLD and India, Students are also selling their home town items at a cost, whenever they visit their home. e.g. Kashmir’s students are selling Kashmir electric blankets, shawls and nuts while south Indian students trade spicy pickles at a cost.
