As for getting into an NIT's or IIIT's firstly your JEE mains marks are viewed. Now as you have achieved 87 percentile then this might not get you into any top NIT's in any branch. But your cast criteria might help you in getting into some national level college for that you may check the past year cut offs of your desired colleges which will provide you a better idea. Or with this score you can try getting into some good state college or may appear JEE mains again.

In order to get admission in IITs, NITs, IIITs a candidate needs to have a minimum percentage of 75% in their 12th standard for General/OBC and 65% for SC/ST or be in top 20 percentile of their respective board.

A candidate not fulfilling the above criteria is not eligible to seek admission in above mentioned colleges.
