The cutoff of CAT 2017 refers to the minimum marks or percentile a test taker must obtain in order to qualify for the next round of selection process. CAT cutoff 2017 has been announced by few IIM's including IIM Ahmedabad, Bangalore, IIM Calcutta and Kozhikode among others. The other top B-schools will also release their CAT 2017 cutoff after the announcement of result. WhileCAThas been conducted by IIM Lucknow on November 26, 2017, the result is awaited for the second week of January 2018. As per the CAT Slot1 analysisby experts, the CAT cutoff 2017 may be higher than last year as the overall difficulty level is lower than CAT 2016. IIMs and other top B-schools announce category wise and sectional CAT cutoff 2017. Candidates must clear the sectional as well as overall CAT cutoff scores or percentile in order to get shortlisted for next round of selection process  WAT-GD/PI rounds.

Various institutes have different CAT cutoff for selection. It includes total cutoff and sectional cutoff.
