Hello,

You have a very bright chance to get a seat in any NIT or IIIT. EWS quota has been started from this year and thus it's a little tough to predict it's trend but since the seats on offer under EWS quota is more than your rank secured, you have a very fair chance in Tier 2 NITs with decent branch (Mech, Civil, Electrical) Tier or Tier 3 NITs with best branhes (CSE, ECE, etc). You might even stand a chance in Tier 1  NIT with a lower branch. You can also get CS or IT or ECE in IIITs like Guwahati, or Gwalior though this can be in some later rounds. I would say you can definitely get any seat by 4th or 5th round of JoSAA and might even get upgraded till last round.

I would also suggest you to go for CSAB round as these rounds have closing ranks very high and you stand a chance to get even better option in it.

I hope I cleared your doubt. Thank You
