Dear Eliza, yes. Once a student completed his MBBS in India, he/she can appear for USMLE step wise exams. USMLE is United States Medical Licensing Examination. This exam allows Medical professionals to apply for residency programmes and practise in India. But if you want to study MBBS in India, you need to qualify in NEET mandatorily. For more information on USMLE, please visit their official page at: https://www.usmle.org/

I thought that the Gov of India is signing bonds with doctors who complete their pg in USA after USMLE that they should return back to India after the residency program and if they don't, then they won't be allowed to work in USA, is it true??
