Yes there is a good chance to get into cat seat at 305 marks if you are from the SC category basically you just need 35 to 65% tile and your consider under will be  7.5 category and there is high chance of getting into IIMs and top MBA colleges and there is a possibility of getting into mid tire colleges too

For ST candidates, the cutoff percentile in many IIMs are much lower than for general candidates, often in the 60-70 percentile range, which means you may have a chance of getting into newer IIMs and some other good B-Schools if your percentile falls under this percentile .However, for the older and top IIMs, the cut-offs are higher.So, it's important to check your CAT percentile on your scorecard and compare it with the ST cutoffs published by each IIM in their admission policy
