No not required. It is clearly mentioned in the allotment order that there is no need of attending the college. Date of attending will be displayed in the tseamcet.nic.in . During that time you need to attend the college.

After the first phase of counselling you need to pay the confirmation fee in the college where you got seat to confirm the seat. The classes will be going after the first phase of counselling is done. No need to go to the college if you feel like you can get better seat. But the attendance starts from the day the college begins.

Since in engineering the attendance plays a major role, it is better to go to the college.

Yes , once you are aloted the college . You need to go to college for further fee payment of college for admission and rest things when the circular for the same is given on the site of your college. So keep a check on if the time has came or not and go according to it.
