Hi aspirant

Definately it will affect .Everything will be affected like there will be increase in the number of candidates qualifying this year.

there will be around 2lakhs candidate who will qualify JEE Mains ,earlier it was around 1.25 lakhs.

Earlier general candidate never got any benefit of registration but this year they will also get benefit of this EWS category.

Do read the offical notice for EWS candidate released by NTA: https://jeemain.nic.in/WebInfo/Handler/FileHandler.ashx?i=File&ii=34&iii=Y

Hope this helps you.
