Having beard or not is one's personal choice. It depends on your decision of keeping a beard or not.

If you are comfortable with a beard then you should and if you are not, then you shouldn't.

As far as MBBS is concerned, students have beard because they can't sometimes shave or some keep it just for fashion.

So all in all, it totally depends on one's own perspective and way of living his life.
