Yes, for b.tech and m.tech course. It is a state level entrance exam which is mainly conducted by aktu. But from next year things are going to be change as upsee is not going to happen any more admission are going to take from jee main rank. And for m.tech through gate.

I assume that you are talking about B.TECH admissions , then YES it takes admission through Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Exam (UPSEE).

After filling form, there will an entrance exam, after exam, your score card will appear, based on that, you can participate in counseling. All state govt colleges and private colleges participate in it.

You can put your choices with stream, after choice locking , you will be informed which college you get from your choices.
