I am currently a first-year MCA student at IET Lucknow, and based on what I’ve learned from seniors and faculty, the college has a solid academic and placement reputation in Uttar Pradesh. For the MCA program, the placement trend depends a lot on student skills and coding practice. The highest package offered in recent years for MCA was around 20 LPA, and the lowest was around 1.5 LPA. On average, students are placed with packages of 4 to 6 LPA.

Placement opportunities are okay to good. It fully depends on how you prepare yourself in the 4 years based on skills, personality, behavior, knowledge, etc. Generally, you get placement if you have skills and knowledge. The packages also depend on your skill. The highest package in my batch is 15 LPA.

Hello Aspirant,

No, you cannot get admission to IET Lucknow through CUET-UG. IET Lucknow is a Government Engineering College, affiliated to AKTU, it is possible only through JEE Main scores, in general the admission is through UPTAC (Uttar Pradesh Technical Admission Counselling). Also, you have not given JEE Main; therefore, you cannot join IET Lucknow in regular B.Tech counseling process.

But you can check for other universities or colleges providing CUET-UG admissions in the undergraduate program especially with streams in science, commerce, and arts.

Dear Candidate ,
Yes , you can apply to IET Lucknow for B. Tech with your 87 % in Class 12 and CUET UG score even if you have not given JEE mains . While JEE main scores are usually preferred , IET also considers CUET UG scores for admission through UPTAC counselling , especially if seats remain after JEE candidates are admitted . Make sure you meet the eligibility criteria, have all necessary documents ready , and participate in the counselling process . Keep an eye on official dates for application and counseling, typically starting around May - June .
