             KPGCET is a state level exam for Karnataka people for Master's programme.

Now, according to GATE, you can get admission in any college of India for Master 'S programme but by KPGCET score you can admit in only Karnataka colleges for Master' s programme.

Yes but if you want to pursue MBA MCA Lateral entry to 2nd year MCA, ME, MTech, MArch courses.

it has nothing to do with GATE, Moreover, if you want to pursue Mtech or want to join any PSU you will have to pass GATE with feasible marks.
