No VIT Vellore does not offer admissions through Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main score. Candidates must fill out the Vellore Institute of Technology Engineering Entrance Exam (VITEEE) online form and appear for VITEEE. Candidates will be selected on the basis of the marks obtained in VITEEE after meeting the cut-off requirements candidates should register for VITEEE counselling. Selection is based on the rank secured through online remote proctored examination. Eligible Candidates may select specific campus and programme during the Counselling. The Vellore Institute of Technology has commenced the counselling for VITEEE 2021 in online mode from June 21.

Previously VIT used to accept JEE Mains score but now as per new rules it is not accepting. No, Vellore Institute of Technology does not accept JEE Mains score. To get admission into Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) Undergraduation degree courses in Vellore Institute of Technology you must VITEEE score and it is mandatory.

You must haves completed your 10+2 or equivalent exam from a recognised Board.
