Hi,
It has been an old notion that mbbs from a government college is better than that from a private college.
But its not entirely so. The subjects, the portions they all remain the same... In fact some deemed universities and private collegea have retired doctors as their faculty members and they are quite good. So if u are worried abt teaching dn well now u hv entered a professional career.. U wnt b taught as u were during school days... You are the one who has to study and work hard.. Professors will ckear ur doubts.. Bt there ain't any spoon feeding. Now the only factor which makes govt colleges better is the fee structure and the facilities.
In private college u oay a lum some amount and get certain facilities but in govt colleges u get d facilities at a low fee.. Cz dse clgs r funded by government. So theres less monetary burden on the student and his family.
And yes its quite true that as much as the college frm which u have done mbbs isnt imp.. Its very vital to do ur MD frm a good govt college.you can do frm a private college but then again you need to that one among the hundred to try ur best to learn. Reason being during the three years of pg u learn d most. Maximum practical knowledge, patient dealing skills are oicked uo during these days..so its imp u do it in a govt college. Coz in govt hostpitals patient inflow will be more and u ll hace a better scope ahead. Aftr all at the end of the day you are the ones dealing with lives of people.
All the best
