The exam can be answered in either Hindi or English, the choice is upto you. If you are coming from an english background in school then definetly go for english. But if you find english a little challenging then you may opt for hindi. Go through the following link for more information

Dear Deepak,
Delhi University exam is an entrance examination for undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
It is a 2 hours of the exam.
It is based on multiple choice questions of 100 question.
The mode of the language is English and Hindi.
Depending on the interest candidate can choose one of them.
