Thanks for asking, It is considered as a degree for admission to 3 year LLB in BHU. 

The Banaras Hindu University mentions the minimum academic qualification under BHU LLB 2018 eligibility criteria. According to the academic eligibility of BHU LLB 2018, candidates need to have a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline. The degree needs to be obtained from any recognized Institute or a University.

Any discipline means any, an engineering degree will also be considered. 

According to BHU LLB 2018 eligibility criteria, candidates need to have scored a minimum of 50 percent marks in aggregate of all subjects in the qualifying degree examination to be considered eligible for BHU LLB 2018 exam.
