Dehradun Institute of Technology (DIT) was established in 1998 by the Unison Group. In 2013, the University gained the status of Deemed University, authorised by the University Grants Board (UGC). The University provides undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programmes. DIT was ranked 129th in the NIRF 2020 engineering category. Candidates who have passed 10+2 and appear for JEE Main entrance examination are eligible for admission in B.tech course. The placement record of the college has been increasing every year with 70% students getting placed in companies like Goldman Sachs,Wipro,CodeNation,Adobe System,ByJus, Teradata, Decathlon, Nestle, HCL Technologies, Samsung, Infosys, Amazon, Genpact, Syntel, IBM etc. The average package is 4.25 lakhs per annum. For all the B.Tech courses the fees is 12.51 lakhs and for Civil engineering the fees is 8.51 lakhs.

Placements: College has a good placement rate, and placement here offered by many companies, whereas the highest package for computer Science branch was around twenty five Lacs rupees by big company such as Amazon, the placements are offered by companies such as Infosys. Etc., there is a placement cell in the college which is very helpful.

Infrastructure: College is made around mountains near Massouri so water and electricity facilities are available 24 hours, library and medical services are High end and labs are air conditioned will, sports has also a good scope in college, hostel rooms are very good and pleasurable, quality of food is 8/10, whole college is Wi-Fi enabled.

Faculty: Faculty is very good and well trained, they are good qualified and have good teaching techniques, our college has maintained a good faculty ratio, they are very helpful and make every student understand what they want to kind of a industrial exposure. The course curriculum is also very well structured.
