placements till now in DIT petroleum branch
They neither call petroleum companies for placements nor provide companies for an internship.
Total loss of students with such a high fee!!
DIT WILL NEVER BE THE CHOICE FOR PETROLEUM ENGINEERING. AND AFTER 4 YEARS PLACEMENTS ARE MUST, BUT THEY ONLY PROVIDE NICE SCENERY OUT THE WINDOW. !!!
DIT University Dehradun has no good placement record for MBA course.last year only 4 companies visited the campus. The highest package is 4 lakhs per annum. Only 40% of the students were placed. In Graphic era university the placements for BTech are excellent. Not good for MBA.
There is no university named as Up University , delhi. and as far as DIT ,Dehradun is concerned , it is a good college in terms of placements , faculty , infrastructure etc. However its campus is not that much huge , but the classrooms are so well built . And maany big companies like HCL visit this college for recruitments.
So , if you are planning to go for DIT , dehradun , then go ffor it. You will never regret your decision.
Hope it helps!
The college seems to be good in terms of faculties, facilities and placements.
They offer both international and domestic placements. Some of the tge companies for placements are WIPRO, Capgemini, Cognizant, Infosys, TATA.
So, overall the college is good with good placement opportunities.
All The Best!
Yes, DIT courses are approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and recognized by Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India.
Hope this will help you
Hey Farhan, DIT university offers petroleum engineering and energy studies with many students pursuing it currently. But maximum of those students pursuing this degree have their main focus on gate exam and not the placements. Being a student of DIT university i won't say that companies for petroleum dosen't come but i would say there are less companies with fewer intake with an average package. Also ,last year two students of petroleum boasted 21 lakhs package. So, nothing could be predicted what will happen but if you prepare yourself accordingly you can be the next 21 lakh package holder out many other students .And as far as faculties are concerned ,they are very well at their work and are well experienced and every faculty will help you in anyway possible.
Yes, DIT has merit based admission. The options are: Merit based on JEE, merit based on 12th standard aggregate, direct admission for 12th STD toppers and 10% management quota.
