Admission to the B.Tech. program is done through State level examinations - KCET conducted by Karnataka Education Society (KEA) as well as through UGET conducted by COMED K (Consortium of Medical Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka).

Final admission is through counseling based on the rank obtained in Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET)/ Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental of Karnataka (COMEDK).
