No, you don’t need to specifically apply for CAT if you are aiming to get admission in IBS Hyderabad. Though the college takes the score of CAT too. But it is not necessary to clear CAT. There are other exams too.

For admission into IBS Hyderabad in the following academic year, these are the general criteria that candidate must meet.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• A candidate must be graduated from a recognized university in any discipline
• Minimum qualification required is 10+ 2 + 3 or 10 + 2 + 4
• Candidates must have at least 50% marks in graduation
• Students appearing for their Final Year are also qualified to apply. They must submit the required papers by 31 May 2020

Medium of Education

• Candidate must have finished his or her graduation in English Medium only
• If not the above situation, then applicants need to submit a TOEFL / NELT / IELTS score by 31 May 2020.

Work Experience

• Applicants applying for an MBA Executive must have at least 2 years of experience.

Selection Process

• Written Exam – Candidates need to clear the written exam in order to appear in the next admission phase
• Selection briefing – Students selected for the next round must attend a selection briefing explaining the information about the program
• GD / PI – After that, there is a Group Discussion and Personal Interview that will take place
• Final admission –Final admission will take place on the grounds of your profile including your academic records and clearing the above mentioned stages.
