As your son has scored  good but it should be more good to get a mbbs seat  in government college. He has the chance to get BDS in government college. 

As the opening marks for getting a mbbs and BDS are 500+ and 450 + in government colleges. 

But if you want mbbs then you can go for private college and can get a mbbs seat with management quota having a expense of 7,00,000 to 21,00,000 per annum. 

Don't forget to apply for the all India and state quota counselling carefully. As the ranks are responsible for getting government seat  if he can get a better rank in state quota counselling he might have a chance to get mbbs in government college.
