Hi,

If you belong to Andhra then admission in Dr.Ambedkar Institute of Technology is not possible as KCET requires seven years of study inclusive of Class 11 & 12. However if the parents of the child belong to Karnataka then they are eligible on the basis of the parent's domicile. Check the eligibility here http://kea.kar.nic.in/cet2017/eligibility_clause_2017.pdf to see if you are eligible. The ranks are as per category so you will have to tell me which category. However for general category the closing rank for computer science was 9230.

See KCET is the entrance exam for karnataka. Just like TSEAMCET is for Telangana. Now AP students cannot write this as it is for students of Karnataka. You need to have studied 7 years in Karnataka or parents must have domicile.
