You can pursue careers as a lecturer/professor/teacher, you can do PhD, you can have a career as a microbiologist, nutritionist, research analyst, clinical research associate, microbiology lab technician, quality control executive,  you can get employed in various pharmaceutical companies too.

The government also appoints microbiologists through various examinations.
