According to the GMR rank you mentioned, your SC category rank would be below 1000. So, you can definitely get a government college at this rank, according to last year's closing ranks. For e.g- Calcutta University or Jalpaiguri Government College, etc. However, to get better predictions of your rank and college, you can use rank predictor and college predictor:
