Since the paper was too easy this time as compared to previous year so ur good marks can also get covered as u are from the core branch. And core disciplines have the max no of applicants. 

See ur marks are good enough for u to get admissioned in some of the NITs and IITs for pursuing ur higher studies. But it is not enough for u to get a job sleection in the PSUs as the rank required for that must be below 600 and u stand nowhere there.
