It all depends upon the college/university in which you are applying for admission into the M.Sc Chemistry course. There is no as such provision in which private candidate need to separately appear for the entrance examination. Many universities and colleges conducts admission based on the entrance test while some organizes admission based on the merit. There is no such restriction or rule made separately for the private candidates.
