It is  quite good , in the year 2017  12 out of 19 students got placed for mtech in power system . But the companies like Qualcomm  ,Texas , Tata , Siemens  visited the campus and also offered package of around 16 lakhs per annum , Tata offered around 10 lakhs and Siemens offered around 6 to 8 lakhs . But there is major advantage for IIT as the tagline is enough to get you a job in a good company .
