I regret to inform you that for a shortage of some marks you cannot get admission into any prestigious college like top nits or iits.

The seats in top nits and iiits get filled up with a max closing rank of 12k .

This condition implies for lower northeast nits too even for them obc closing cutoff ends at maximum of 15k rank but not more than that.

But in northeast state if you have homestate quota then you might get admission into nit .
