You'll be able to do bcom programme from du even if you don't have maths as one your subject but might face some deduction in your best 4. For BCom pass course if you have not studied maths in class XII or doesn't include the subject's marks in the best-four percentage, you will attract a penalty of 2.5 per cent.

So your percentage  will get down to 80.5%. You may still be able to secure admission in du for bcom programme as being an obc candidate. You might not get some good colleges but can get some south or off campus colleges.

Hello, the eligibility criteria is to secure atleast 54 percentage in class 12th, In best four subjects. The percentage of best four is the aggregate of English/hindi, mathematics, accountancy, commerce and economics. So if you don't want to consider mathematics in your best four then be sure you have atleast three of the above mentioned subject  and English/hindi in your best four. So mathematics is not necessary but apparently you have to meet the eligibility criteria with these other subjects.
