Hey,
First off,I would like to tell that the idea of difficulty is quite subjective and that the question that you find difficult might be easy for someone else. It entirely depends upon your approach.
The syllabus for both NEET and JEE is same, that is,11th and 12th Physics,Chemistry. However,it has been observed over the years that the question of JEE Mains is very tough as compared to NEET.
Hope this helps.
Good luck.

hello diya,

NO , there is a difference in level between JEE mains and NEET .

NEET has simple questions as compared to JEE .

because in JEE mains questions are less in number as compared to NEET .

the questions of physics and chemistry and moral is similar in JEE and Neet although the parts of physical chemistry are more important in JEE examination concentrating on the engineering point of view where is you need to have extensive knowledge on organic chemistry including the chapters and nomenclature and reaction mechanism is especially in the chapters of hydrocarbons and carbonyl compounds along with some basic knowledge on the inorganic chapters of s, p, d and f block elements and physical chemistry chapters of atomic structure and chemical kinetics and energetics along with molarity concepts for your Neet point of view
talking about physics it is more or less similar although the application based problems on circuit diagrams based on modern physics, electromagnetism and current electricity will be much more important in examination various problems on wave optics and thermodynamics are frequent observations in NEET examination all the mechanics is given almost same weight age in both with complexity of the problems usually being more in examination science engineering entrance is meant to be qualified by students having a strong mathematical base at least stronger than those who have prepared with biology in NEET

Hi Candidate,
Thank you for choosing Careers360.
Yes the syllabus is almost same, But the Physics paper of JEE main is slightly higher level than NEET.
Chemistry is same for both of the entrance exams which mostly consists topics form NCERT books.

Hello Diya

As you know that both exam are different but their concepts and syllabus is similar.

And we can not compare their level because both exam have their own difficulty level.

But one thing in jee mains question is mostly calculation based from concepts and in neet mostly question check your concepts and theory. So this is the main difference.

And when you compare the question you think that in neet question are easy .

In jee we have to apply the concepts but in neet we must kNow about the concept in deep.

Good luck.

Hi there.

You are correct. The level of questions of Chemistry in JEE MAINS & NEET are very similar. Rather, questions are more calculative in NEET and more theory based in JEE mains.

For preparing chemistry, you could refer to the following books along with NCERT & NCERT Exemplar.

1. For Physical chemistry, solve questions from Vibrant Academy's book of Narendra Awasthy.

2. For Inorganic chemistry, solve questions from Vibrant Academy's book of V K Agarwal.

3. For Organic Chemistry, solve Arihant Publication book of the same for NEET.

You will find direct questions in the exams from the above-mentioned books.

Hope this helps.

All the best.
