Hello,i am expecting 35 marks in gate 2019 chemical can i get mtech in iits (from sc catagory) or nits??

Hello Harshit

If you expecting 35 marks then it is not that considering any category you belong. Yes can clear the cutoff's but when it will come down to admission in top IIT's then i think it will be a problem.

As you have mentioned that you gave in Chemical Stream so then you can get the lower IIt's like BBSR or Nit's like W or T but that too will depend upon the interview which you will have to clear as most of the IIt's conduct an interview for the selection procedure.

Actually the last year cutoff for this particular is different and this year cutoff will differ because of competition is increasing year by year
But for Mtech in chemical and your category is considered and the marks you got I can say best College you will get for sure either it may be nit or IIT but you will get for sure
