Hope you are doing great as per the question asked by you, as you are N.R.I and your son is also studying abroad so will be eligible for N.R.I quota, not for O.B.C non creamy layer quota for getting admissions under O.B.C non creamy layer quota you need to be Indian national and should be studying in India also.
