Hi sir my neet 25 air 2.8 lakh and all india ews category rank 32k while being a ews candidate I get allotment through ews quota so neet air is not that relevant right? My sir told me to apply both india and kerala councelling to improve my chances is it right? To get low tier gmc in the last round any slight chance plz reply

Hi,

For ews quota, your 32k EWS rank will be considered for ews seats, not your 2.8LAKH AIR. with rank of 32k chances of getting GMC is very slim, especially through all india quota. However in mop up rounds, very low tier private or deemed universities may have vacant seats.

and yes your teacher is saying right, applying for both will increase your chances as state quotas have lower cut off than AIQ especially for domicile candidates.

In kerala, if you are state domicile with EWS category, your chances are better in private medical colleges or government seats under EWS if cut off drops significantly in later rounds.
