You have good chances to get a seat in the following institutes-
NIT Nagaland-civil engineering
NIT Andhra Pradesh-civil engineering
NIT Mizoram-civil engineering
NIT Srinagar-civil engineering,mechancial engineering
NIT Agartala-Mechanical engineering
NIT Meghalaya-Mechanical engineering
NIT Sikkim-mechanical engineering
NIT arunachal pradesh-mechancial engineering
NIT Manipur- mechanical engineering
NIT Silchar-mechancial engineering
Although the above mentioned branches might not be very appealing to you. You can get iiits and gftis too, but the above mentioned institutes are much better than the iiits you are going to get.

dear aspirant,at this rank it might seem tough to get admission in any NIT's or IIIT's, except if you have a home state qouta in north-east, jammu and kashmir or states where competition is not tough for NIT's. regarding GFTI's chances are there you might get it. even if you opt for B.SC/dual degree BS MS progarmme chances are there you might get into NIT's.
