As you tagged for IIIT banglore, you might be wanting to take an admission in IIIT. Sure you can apply for it. If you have stat quota then it will help you to get an admission. But IIIT Banglore is for M.tech which is a 5 year course.

you can joing for IMtech only for that your rank should be enough high and 5000 is a very high rank.
