Hostels or PG both are dependent on the choice of the student. If you choose to live alone and to avoid disturbance or want to have more privacy then you can opt for PG. Although I would highly recommend you that in Bangalore the PG's are quite costly. Thus its always better to stay at hostel as you will save money and you will make some beautiful memories with your hostelers which will remain with you for you whole life.

Now depending on what you think appropriate for you, take the decision.
