According to the report of 2020, the campus placement for Great Lakes , witnessed a 100% placement along with participation from some of the eminent recruiters including McKinsey, Crisil , Dell, Deloitte, KVB, Ford, JP Morgan, Infosys. The average CTC was Rs. 10.4 LPA while the highest CTC was Rs. 21 LPA .

Many students got also pre placements. Also , as per the official website of great lakes , the average post - MBA CTC was 2.64 times the 0re - MBA CTC for PGPM class of 2020.

Corporate & Career Services (CCS) at Great Lakes Chennai manages all placement-related operations. CSS has launched a Career Acceleration Program to bridge the gap between academic learning and real-world skill requirements (CAP). Students are prepared for the Great Lakes Chennai placement drive through a variety of activities such as simulated interviews, HR dialogues, HR interviews, and corporate communication. Interim placements give students with internship possibilities in addition to placement chances.

The MBA Class of 2021's campus placement procedure went off without a hitch, with 100% of students placed. Microsoft, Accenture, BNY Mellon, Cognizant, Decathlon Sports, Deloitte, EY, FedEx, HCL, Infosys, L&T Infotech, Michael Page, Mindtree, TCS, Tiger Analytics, Vedanta, and ZS Associates, to mention a few, all participated in the placement season. The batch's average CTC was 13.63 lakhs per annum, with an international consulting business offering the highest domestic CTC of 31.75 lakhs per annum.

Analytics, BFSI, IT/ITES, Business & Technology Consulting, Operations, and Product were among the sectors where students were offered positions. The consulting industry dominated recruitment, with Tech Consulting (34%) and Business Consulting (29%) firms accounting for the majority of offers.
