Academic curriculum is very strict. Atleast 80% attendance is required in each subject and overall as well otherwise there will be a grade drop. Also it is mandatory to get more than 2.5 cgpa otherwise you will not be allowed to sit for the placements and your parents will be called for your poor academic performance. We have mid term, End term and lots of quizes, assignments and projects for each subjects both individual and group
Plenty of good faculty and curriculum is updated often to stay in touch with industry . Plenty of projects to work on, depending on how much effort you put in you can extract alot of value. Some great mentors
I am pursuing PGDM at the Great Lakes Institute of Management, Chennai and I am a first-year student. As far as academics is concerned the overall learning experience is great, college provides highly skilled teachers with good teaching as well as industry experience.
Hi Aspirant,
Hope you are doing great.
You have scored pretty well in CAT but still, great lakes put too much emphasis on your past academic performance. Your 10th and 12th marks are decent but the low performance in graduation can restrict your call from this college. Generally, the cut off of this college revolves around 85 percentile in CAT. So, there are some chances that you might get a call from this college at 89.90 percentile.
All the best.
Hii there! Hope you are doing good.
