Till 2017, Indian students could have applied directly to US for MBBS. From 2018, qualifying NEET is mandatory for getting admission in any foreign country, US or UK. 

There are many steps to follow if you want to get admission in MBBS in UK or MD in US. (In US the basic medical degree is MD)

Apply for entrance test - UKCAT for UK and MCAT for US

Apply and clear english language test - TOEFL or IELTS or PTE

After clearing entrance test, apply for admission in various universities according to the rank

Take admission, pay fees

Documentation, Apply for visa

One needs to take care while searching for university. A good university certainly adds value to you career. Additionally there are some alternate pathways wherein medical entrance test is not required for getting admission in some of the universities and one can get direct admission. You can also take admission in some universities without clearing NEET-UG.
